At Kinesics we believe that understanding our own emotions (EQ), along with the emotions of others, is a fundamental skill for leaders to be successful and effective.
We work with startups to fortune 500 businesses to equip their teams with the skills they need to quickly build rapport, deliver impactful presentations, win negotiations, read body language and boost revenue. Those skills also enhance your self-awareness, awareness of others, strengthen your confidence and leadership skills.
Kinesics is also the only Paul Ekman partner operating in Canada. Dr. Ekman is an American psychologist and pioneer in the study of emotions and how they affect facial expressions and deception.
We offer consulting and training to help you:
Angela, our founder and CEO, is the only Paul Ekman Associate operating in Canada. She has worked with startups to large businesses. Angela’s drive and passion is fuelled by a desire to help people better understand themselves and others.
Committed to giving back to the community, Angela mentors, judges entrepreneurs at startup festivals and participates in many other initiatives.
In recognition of Angela’s business acumen and community influence, the Jewish Chamber of Commerce presented her with the 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Angela’s fascination with behaviour started when she was very little, trying to decipher animal behaviour. Her experience living in multiple countries and immigrating to Canada on her own at the age of 23 increased her interest in human behaviour, cultures and the universal ‘unspoken’ language.
